All your tenant dialogue in one place – AI voice agent for phone coming soon

Chat and email today, AI voice agent coming soon. Avy brings all dialogue with tenants and applicants together in one customer platform, with AI agent Davy in every channel.

Key takeaways

  • Avy brings all customer contact with tenants and applicants into one customer platform, linked to the tenant, contract and cases.
  • Today, the AI agent Davy answers in chat and by email – in the app, on My Pages and on your website.
  • An AI voice agent for phone is coming soon, and tenants will be able to identify themselves much like when they call their bank.
  • Davy can already hand a question over to a person by creating a case for the right team or colleague. Coming soon, Davy can also transfer the conversation to live chat, so the tenant gets help in real time.

Tenants get in touch in whatever way suits them. A question in the chat about the laundry room, a maintenance request in the app, an email from someone looking for an apartment, a call when water drips from the ceiling. For property managers, that often means several systems and several partial pictures of the same person.

That's why we're building Avy as a customer platform where every channel connects. It doesn't matter whether it's a tenant who uses the app, a tenant who hasn't started using the app yet or someone looking for a home – all customer contact is captured and brought together in one place, linked to the right person, apartment and contract. That means less duplicate work and fewer questions falling through the cracks. Read more about Tenant Communication.

Davy is in every channel

Davy, Avy's AI agent, answers questions and does what would otherwise be manual work: creating cases, filling in the right information and sending them on to the right person. Davy has access to the same information as your case handlers and gets its answers from there. Read more about agentic AI in Avy.

Chat and email – today

Davy has been in the chat since 2023. Logged-in tenants chat with Davy in the app and on My Pages, and on your website anyone can chat without logging in – residents, applicants or anyone who just has a question. Read more about Tenant Support.

Most property managers also have an inbox that never empties. With Davy in email, tenants get a reply right away. Davy can answer common questions based on your knowledge base, point tenants onward when the question belongs elsewhere and create a case when something needs fixing.

In the app, on iOS, Android and the web, tenants manage their home themselves: maintenance requests, bookings, documents, rent information and updates from you. Whatever comes in through the app lands in the same customer platform as the emails. See more in Tenant Experience.

Coming soon: AI voice agent for phone

Many tenants still prefer to call, especially when something is urgent. Soon, Davy will take those calls too. Tenants will be able to identify themselves during the call, much like when you call your bank, so Davy can help with things that concern their own apartment and contract. People who aren't logged in, such as applicants, can also call and get answers.

Here's what a call can look like: Anna calls about a leak under her kitchen sink. Davy recognises her and her address, asks her to close the valve and reads the lease. Plumbing is the landlord's responsibility, so Davy logs an urgent case for the on-call team and asks if they may use the master key. When the call ends, the case is with the on-call team and Anna has a confirmation by text.

Handover to a person – today and soon

Sometimes a question needs a person. Davy already handles that today by creating a case and sending it to the right team or colleague, with everything the tenant has said attached. Coming soon, Davy can also transfer the conversation to live chat, so someone on your team picks it up in real time and the tenant doesn't have to start over.

Why it matters

The point isn't more channels for their own sake. The point is that tenants get the same help however they reach out, and that you have the whole dialogue in one place. That makes everyday work more efficient for you and clearer for the tenant.

Avy is used for more than 500,000 homes today and works on top of your existing property system. Read more about our integrations.
